Welcome to Tanduringie State SchoolAt Tanduringie State School we believe in providing quality education with a focus on educational achievement, wellbeing and engagement, culture and inclusion.
The spirit of the Tanduringie State School community is built on the traditions and culture of over 100 years history. It is a small school with a big HEART promoting the values and expectations of being Helpful, Empathetic, Accountable, Responsible and Thoughtful.
Our dedicated and experienced staff and support staff take the time to know each child to ensure teaching and learning meets individual student needs. Emphasis is on the whole child, preparing each student for their future as they progress and transition through school.
The school is well-resourced and each student has their own laptop and access to tablet devices. Students work with specialist teachers for Japanese and Digital and Design Technology classes through an online learning platform.
The school has a large, covered multi-purpose court and plenty of oval space for its annual under 8's -day, STEM challenge, cross-country and end-of-year picnic day.
Students have access to tuckshop every second Friday and the school has a breakfast program running five days a week.
As part of the Australian Curriculum reading guidelines, students have access to decodable texts and rich literary works from the school's library. The school also offers a facilitated playgroup each week.
I invite you to learn more about our school through our website and encourage you to contact me for further information or to organise a tour of our amazing school.
